A special thanks to my Muse (wife) for her days and weeks of reading and editing. It was a time and energy consuming job. I had set a deadline for submitting to my agent and that made for more pressure. But it went out on Tuesday, October 8th.
I know she was thrilled for the break. Two weeks with no writing! But...I'm back into it now with A Cold Copper Moon. Thanks also to my son, Ryan, for all his editing help as well! He's now back at the university working on his doctoral dissertation. So, Blood Moon Rising is now in the hands of my agent (Tris). Here's hoping! Thanks to all of you (including Pam, Middy, Hans, Jim, Jane, Christine, Cathleen, Karyn, and others) for your feedback and inquiries about when my first book will come out. I'm hoping that Blood Moon Rising will be the one. Connie

I'm back at work on novel three: A Cold Copper Moon.
This time Cooper is investigating the disappearance of a fishing captain in the Keys. His daughter, a reporter for the Miami Herald, hired Cooper to find him. The major development in A Cold Copper Moon is that Cooper finally discovers what happened to his son, Maxie. More later. Connie On another front--
I am finishing up the editing of Blood Moon Rising and sending it off to Tris (agent) this weekend. My wife says it's one of the scariest books she has ever read and won't let me read it aloud to her--especially at night. Is that good? More later I am enjoying Randy's newest book, Night Moves. A great adventure story about the mysterious disappearance of Flight 19 in 1945 in the vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle.
A great Doc Ford mystery. You'll love it. |
