Cooper follows the trail of the killing of a fishing captain to an oil rig drilling in the Florida Straits. Result: His client--daughter of the fishing guide--gets shot. Things get complicated when the rig is tied into a Chinese gang.

At the same time a flashback to the kidnapping of Cooper's son finds Maxie (his son) approaching his final destination with the bad guys.
